Cool. Looks like MPI build is broken for GCC. I never compiled it with GCC, actually. It can be compiled only with Intel compiler and IntelMPI.

Okay, well that makes things much simpler. I'll compile it with the intel compilers and give the CFOUR interface a miss. MRCC more than fast enough on its own, it's just the analytic first derivatives (and second derivatives; you need them for VPT2 calcs) for CCSD(T) which keep me using CFOUR.
